What are your rates for service?
An onsite service call in the greater Lowell area is priced at $50. If the service call is outside of the greater Lowell area, the price will be adjusted to account for transportation costs. For example, a service call to Burlington, MA would be $60. The onsite service charge includes 1/2 hour of debug/repair time. Each additional 1/2 hour of time is billed at $35.

How long will it take to service my computer?
Each service call is unique. It all depends what is wrong with your computer. Be assured that NKC Systems strives to keep your costs to a minimum.

My old system needs a new hard drive, should I buy a new computer or fix the computer?
NKC Systems will examine your computer problem and present an acceptable solution. If your older system needs a new hard drive, a used hard drive will keep the cost down.

How do you service my computer? Can I watch?
Sure, you are encouraged to watch and ask questions. Computer repair isn't black magic.

How did you make your website?
This website was done with 1st Page 2000 from www.evrsoft.com. The utility is a simple WYSIWYG HTML application. Evrsoft no longer supports the utility but it is available on the web for free.
Please note that your virus scanner will report a virus in one of the scripts, "six buttons ..." in the the application. When this script is executed, it causes your computer to open windows until your computer crashes. If your scanner removes the six buttons script, it will not harm the application. If you don't find the "virus", don't worry about it.
